On Completion

Upon completion, you will have developed a clear understanding of common mental health conditions and how they affect individuals. You will have learnt how to provide person-centred support, communicate effectively, and maintain professional boundaries, gained knowledge of key legislation, safeguarding, and how to work as part of a team to support recovery and promote well-being. This will prepare you to work confidently in mental health care settings.

Eligibility Criteria
  1. You must currently live in a Non-Devolved Area of England or the Great London Area (GLA). If you live in GLA you must evidence you have permission to remain here for the next 365 days. You must have residency to be in the UK/EEA for the purposes other than study when enrolling onto the course.
  2. You must be over the age of 19 or older (on 31 August 2024) and be able to fully commit to this course.
  3. You must have the relevant ID to register for this course. (passport, visa/permit, birth certificate or driving licence and proof of address within the last 3 months)
  4. You must not have done this qualification at the same or higher level previously.

The course is delivered remotely and you will need a laptop or computer to be able to access and study on this course.
