The course covers key areas of AI, including the understanding how AI works, working with data, prompt engineering, automating tasks, exploring models and algorithms, creating content, and applying AI safely and ethically in business. Learners can use tools such as ChatGPT, Canva, Microsoft Copilot, and automation platforms to build their own AI portfolio / project.

This programme has been shaped through employer and stakeholder feedback, ensuring it reflects the skills required for:

• Digital Content or Marketing Assistant
• Digital & Business Support with AI roles

Each week blends technical learning, employability skills and industry engagement through masterclasses and guest speakers.

Upon completion, you will have developed a comprehensive understanding of AI Skills.

This qualification opens the door to career opportunities within AI and provides a pathway for further education and professional development in the field.

Upon completion, you will be able to:

• Apply AI tools to business problems and automation
• Create AI generated content and visuals
• Craft effective prompts for accurate AI outputs
• Analyse AI results and produce actionable insights
• Present AI findings to non-technical audiences
• Use AI tools responsibly, addressing bias, ethics and privacy

Your portfolio demonstrates your ability to apply AI responsibly, generate actionable insights, and communicate findings professionally for business impact.

1. You must currently live in Bedfordshire. If you live in Bedfordshire you must evidence you have permission to remain here for the next 365 days.
2. You must be over the age of 19 or older (on 31 August 2025) and be able to fully commit to this course.
3. You must have the relevant ID to register for this course. (passport, visa/permit, birth certificate or driving licence and proof of address within the last 3 months).
4. You must not have previously undertaken an AI based Skills Bootcamp, and, must not have previously done any other Bootcamp since 1st April 2024.
5. You must be unemployed. If you are employed an employer contribution towards cost is required.

The course is delivered remotely and you will need a laptop or computer to be able to access and study on this course.
